serial number 120748

The above serial number is for a unit that i'm going to buy. just not sure how to read it to determine year. I believe from the website it's telling me it was manufactured between 1982 and 1983 correct

I would agree and even venture to say March of 1982 based on the table at the bottom of this page: http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/faq/markv.htm
