I have spent many an idle(r bearing) minute thinking about this.tomsalwasser wrote:Just got an email from SS trying to sell me a speed reducer for a couple hundred+++ bucks. Won't need it with a PowerPro, right?
My educated guess is that Power Pro enhances the high-end speed range, up to 10,000 rpm or so. But I don't think it enhances the low-end speed range as much. Furthermore the Speed Reducer is a mighty Torque Multiplier and I wonder if a Power Pro alone could match/exceed that effective torque.
