I was looking over the parts list and comparing to my planer, and it seems I'm missing a feed rate label and a warning label. At 15 and 5 bucks, I thought I'd print my own. Is the text on the feed rate label the same (more or less) as in the Owners Manual?
Speaking of owners manuals, is there any information in the newer jointer manual that is not covered in the Magna jointer manual? I'm most interested in info regarding aligning and sharpening the blades.

You should be able to replicate the label as the information is in the manual. There are three basic parts to the label. One is the table correlating turns of the table elevation crank to changes in depth of cut, next is a table addressing maximum depth of cut based on material width and type of material (found in the appendix of the manual) lastly are warning that I would guess are similar to the ones listed in the manual.
If noone responds regarding the jointer, I will check my document archives and pull one of the old manuals to compare with the latest jointer manual that I have. The basic jointer has remain unchanged since Magna introduced. That being saidmy gut reaction is to say that there would not be much difference. Jointer Knife angle?
I am confused by the SS reference to a 45 degree (+/-) grind on the blades. I was always taught, and my 6" (1941) craftsman, and my 8" (modern) Delta both specify 36 to 38 degrees. Why is my 4" SS (Magna) so different?
