Honor our Vetrans

Post by albie »

While I never served, my late father did.
My other passion is military vehicle restoration. This is my Willys Overland model M38A1, marked with my father's unit; 5th RCT, H Company, Korea.

There have been many stories told to me, by many Vets, over the hood of this jeep.

I thank all of you for your service. While never having served myself, I hope that I have contributed to supporting many of you while working for a large Seattle aerospace company, especially the time I spent in Philadelphia where the Sea Knight, Chinook, and Osprey are made. And to my late Father-in-Law...Semper Fi.

Here's another Thread listing vets - There may be some duplications, but I bring this forward because I love the photo of Ed (reible) in Viet Nam. (post #23) https://forum.shopsmith.com/viewtopic.php?t=2465&highlight=veterans
Wow! I think I missed that picture the first time! Thanks for reminding us. I think I might have been that age once. Thanks for serving Ed. Chu Lai was not a fun place!
