Quick question (lower blade guard)

So, as far as I know I have a model 500 (Greenie, 1956). I need to find a lower blade guard and I've been looking on a certain popular auction site. Will a guard for a 520 fit? Or any other of the 500 series???

No, the 520 guard will not fit between the table posts on a 500 and work as a lower saw guard. There are various versions of upper and lower saw guard systems for the 500. Any 500 lower guard should work on your system.

There is at least one version of the lower saw guard for the model 500 that requires some surgery on the table uprights so that it will fit between them.
