Ok, I gotta ask, has anyone tried anodizing the aluminum parts at home?

Saw this on a previous thread:

This seems like a pretty easy/cheap process, aside from the fact that you need to handle large quantities of battery acid.

I'm really curious if anyone has tried this for any of the aluminum tops/pieces for the SS.
