Just wondering if anyone has the setup instructions for dovetail joints? Perferably the simple ones that are cut by hand! Thanks! jackcrowl@hotmail.com

Jack, I'm pretty sure that if you just Google "dovetail" you'll find lots of information. About every other month, it seems, one of the woodworking magazines at the newsstand has an article on how to hand-cut dovetails.
You might consider buying Frank Klausz' video on dovetailing by hand, or Rob Cosman's, or Jim Kingshott's. And I think Tage Frid has one also. Several of the on-line woodworking stores carries these videos--such as Highland Hardware, Lee Valley/Veritas, and, I think, Lie-Nielsen. In other words, there are tons of resources on the 'Net. Good luck!

I cut my last set of dove tails for the drawers I made on a band saw. They are through dovetails. I saw it done in a video called mastering your bandsaw by Mark Duginske. There is a book out also. I picked both up at the library.
