SS 4" Jointer quadrant

Post by iacchus »

Hello all,

I recently purchased a '71 Magna ShopSmith jointer. Everything is fine with it except the quandrant & bolts. I'm curious if anyone has any extra parts they would be willing to part with (pun intended). (item # 44) Quadrant assembly, (47) Flat washer, 1/2", (48) Guide bushing, (49) Handle & Hub assembly, (50) Sleeve screw for the 4" Jointer. These parts join the fence to the jointer table & allow the fence to tilt.. I dont need the handle itself, but I do need the other parts.
Thanks, Dave

Caution: It may be a good idea (if you haven't already done so) to search the fori for quandrant "situations". At least one major part of that subsystem is prone to being somewhat easily damaged. Be especially careful to buy only undamaged parts.
