Just a few old magazine articles framed for the LOML's craft booth.

I don't usually get into boasting but these joints were cut on my out of the box Kapex saw with original blade after 2 months of general shop use. Just one of the reasons these tools demand such a high price tag.

I do not think you could make a bad joint if you tried! :D

So what is a Kepax saw??? A hand saw??

Did you mean to spell Kapex? Sliding compound miter saw? Aint it nice when joints realy fit perfectly right off the saw? This deserves a brag!!

Thanks very much for all your nice comments re: the loader. Really not too hard to build with full sized plans from "Toys and Joys" They also furnished wheels axles, dowels. the tricky-est part was drilling 1/8" holes in the ends of 5/16" dowels.

Tools used were SS band saw, Mark 510, drill press vice, and the strip sander.

Concerning the small cars - Like efmaron - I think my next batch will be au-natural! Bare wood. I see after February, 2011 (6 months from now) we will be required to have 3rd party confirmation from glue makers of no toxic stuff in the glue. This is probably a topic for another thread.

Here's the thread that shows the full construction, including making the custom brass ruler using acid etching.
