Yep! tried them for the first time, today! 120 grit is my favorite for machine sanding. Of course, I can't tell anything about longevity, but the belt on the 4" belt sander worked very well.
The 120 green belt on the strip sander worked very well also. It seemed sawdust did not embed on the green belts as much as it did on the aluminum oxide. Maybe my immagination... but I like them.
Glad I bought them on sale, because that gave me a chance to buy something else at 20% off.

Thank you for the insight Charlese. I do appreciate this. Now I wait for the sale again. I have an 80 and 120 ao belts right now but was looking at the newer ones and also do they seem to sand faster that oa or is it just the longeveity? anyway SS belts it will be. Thank you again.

New day - More sanding - Now after a few hours, I can say (IMO) the green belts work as advertised - faster and cleaner that the old red ones. In fact, have to be careful to avoid too much pressure! Just a little dab will do you! Used both the belt and strip sanders! Used speed "C 1/2" on both.
FUN!:D
