Greenie. I finally got the roll pin out,but....
I finally got the roll pinout of the headstock lock handle. I was so happy. Then when I went to screw the handle off, the threaded rod broke off inside the handle where roll pin hole was. What's the best option now? Just get a whole new assembly?
Yes, each threaded rod and handle are hand drilled for the roll pin so they should only be brought and used as a set. Each roll pin hole has a slight difference for each handle and rod.nils wrote:I finally got the roll pinout of the headstock lock handle. I was so happy. It bears mentioning that that end has a left hand thread!!!!
Also there is only one position(distance handle screws onto the rod) that is correct. You should be able to see through the hole completely when properly aligned.
