Broke my jigsaw...

Anybody got spare parts, my 20" Scroll Saw fell of the bench last night and broke several pieces, 555220. I checked SS and I can buy a used one for the parts I need, not to mention that they didn't have half of them in stock. thanks Dan danandkaye@yahoo.com

Need more information. #555220 is an invalid number at the Shopsmith parts site. You need to list the broken part numbers from the 20" Scroll Saw parts list at the Shopsmith web page. I have found a few of the scroll saw parts I have replaced were made from a special alloy (like pot metal) and cannot be brazed or welded, only replaced. Yes, there was a lengthly back order time for the needed parts but they were delievered and is your best way to go. I stock all the older jig saw parts but have very few parts for the scroll saw.

I believe that the number 555220 is indeed the number for a scoll saw. You'll find reference to it on page 13 of the catalog. It references it for the upgrade kit.
