Beautiful Highboy! What is the wood and what finish did you use?kartoffelkopf wrote:Just posted this over at the LJ website (here). The write-up is over there, so I won't bore you with it here. Anyway, here are some pics for the thread. (Oh, and shh… don't alert those folks who say you can't do anything "real" on a Shopsmith.]http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk79 ... G_8053.jpg[/IMG]

Well, haven't been in the shop much at all this summer except to match some trim for a friend. I spent a day last week sharpening all my tools. Tomorrow I will go through the Shopsmith with a fine tooth comb and wax all tool tops. The last thing I did was the attatched cabinets for some people in Indiana. I mumbled frequently about the small shop. Probably a little too big a project for my little area.
Within the next week or two I'll start on Christmas gifts. Need to build a foyer table, chess pieces, curio cabinet and maybe I'll start that bedroom suit that I promised the wife 20 some odd years ago

Did you use a jig to make all those cars the same?charlese wrote:A couple of weeks ago I showed a pic of little toy cars, but can't find where posted now. So here they are again with the new toy - a Skid Steer loader. Don't know what to do with the loader toy, just wanted to see if I could make the sliding cylinders and other parts.

Chuck, regarding that fleet of mini cars, are they of your design or did you use a set of plans? If plans, where did you get them, as I'd be interested in making my own fleet.Originally Posted by charlese
