The longer sanding hub is about 2" long. The 5/8" saw arbors for the 500, like the 1-1/4" saw arbors, are too short to use with the 520's saw guard system.rlkeeney wrote:My miter gauge is machined for the t-washer. I guess this means I have a later model. I bought it in the early eighties.
How long is the longer hub on the sanding disks. I have four and I sure would not want to have to buy new ones.
I don't think I have any 1-1/4 hub saw blades unless I have one of the old blades I got with the Shopsmith when I bought it stashed away some where.
Thanks for the tips.

IF you merely want to use those sanding disks the same as before(side of table...) then no new stuff needed!;):)rlkeeney wrote:More stuff I have to buy.![]()
At least I don't have a bunch of saw arbors to replace.

No one said anything about doing the deal outside of Ebay (though the seller's cost would be less that way). What was said was that the deal could have been done after the auction ended. The reserve on the auction was not met. In this situation, Ebay allows the seller at the seller's option to sell to the highest bidder (and the transaction is done within Ebay).rlkeeney wrote:No he did not. Just for the record. The purchase went through eBay.

My last eBay transaction was done that way. They (eBay) frowns on doing deals outside of eBay for items that are listed on eBay.
