Revised Shopsmith power coupler?

Post by wa2crk »

Has anyone got any news on a revised power coupler from SS for the SPT's.
There is an item on E-Bay # 350397577738 that purports to be a new item.

I do not believe that is a "Shopsmith" part. It is a part that has been designed and built (or adapted from existing parts) that works on 5/8" and 1/2" shafts which makes it physically compatible to the Mark V environment.

Price is a bit high for me though I would like to have one or two laying around.

horologist;
I believe that you are correct. That is the same device and the same picture.
