Worksharp 3000 knife sharpener

Post by ryanbp01 »

I received an e-mail coupon from Darex giving a 50% discount for Worksharp 3000 attachments. I purchased the knife sharpening attachment as well as a cover. I received them both today. I used the knife sharpener on a couple of really dull knives from the kitchen drawer. All I can say is WOW!! This is the best attachment I have seen to sharpen a lot of knives at one time. It also sharpens scissors! The attachment comes with easy to understand instructions as well as a 3 belts for sharpening. works great on serrated knives as well.

Worksharp 3000 knife sharpener

Post by billmayo »

I have a new in the box Worksharp 3000 wood tool sharpener available if anyone is interested in buying one. The knife sharpener attachment was not available at that time but it is extra attachment for this item now. I will be placing it on Ebay this weekend. I purchased the Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener since sharpening knifes was a task that I needed.

I have a bad experience with them. I also received the mail with the 50% discount and they had no prices the site. I wrote to them and later they send a email saying it was a mistake and now the offer was off. One rep still gave me the prices and took my order and credit card, another one wrote to me and say the offer was cancelled.

Bad service definitely.

This was a review of the attachment itself, not of the company.

My apologies for intervening in your thread. I thought it could have been relevant as to get to the attachment I need to go through the company.
Will go silent now.

Eartigas-

Didn't mean to snap at you. When I accessed the site, I didn't have the problems you encountered. The coupon offer does end tomorrow. I hope to see this attachment offered at my local Woodcraft store.

There is an update: I may have to buy my wife some new towels. She was drying some of the knives I sharpened and shredded the towels!:o

Regarding the knife sharpener attachment. I visited my local woodcraft store to buy the attachment, I found one that had its own power supply. After returning home I discovered there are two versions. One as an attachment to the WS3000 and another that is a free standing tool. The guy at Woodcraft swore there was only the attachment and could not explain why it had its own power source. After looking at the item I decided there is far too close a resemblance to the strip sander which I already own. Fjimp
