Lower Saw Guard

Post by akumono »

Hi all,

I just picked up a 1984 or so MARK V over the weekend and am trying to figure out the lower saw guard assembly. What came in the box 'o stuff with the machine is pictured here:

It also has the clear plastic upper guard (not pictured) which works fine.

For the lower assembly -- am I missing a part or something? I can't seem to figure out how to attach it properly (and it's too small to cover the sanding disk).

There was no manual in the box, of course.

I appreciate the help!

The following link shows how the tiebar guard (part 155) of the lower saw guard mounts to the table tie bar. The other portion mounts on the quill housing.
