Thanks Jim for the wishes.

We will be blessed this year by having two of our kids and their families on the big day. Our son is supposed to be here Friday night.

Jim, Bob (and everyone else),

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. The weather here is supposed to be lousy: which means it will be great to be in the workshop!!:D I have all of my materials together to build my lovely wife her long-awaited microwave cart/storage/bookshelf unit. For the casters, I'm using the extra wheels which came with my SS storage cabinets.

I know what you mean, this is the first year in 25 I don't have to work. Only reason is that in January Wal-Mart Eliminated 1600 members of management and I was one. So being 62 with 25 years guess I was not valuable. Found a Job in July so something to be thankful for this year. Thankful for a job, no stress and time with the family. Going to KC and see five of my seven daughters and 5 of my grandkids. One was just born a couple of weeks ago in Denver and I have not seen him yet.
Miss the pay but not the stress of management.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and find them good woodtool buy on Friday.
I am hoping for a new Nova Chuck
Bill :)

I'm thankful that I can care for my wife, can do some decent cooking, that my uninsured house is safe and standing, that I have a couple of Shopsmiths and they work really well. Also, thankful for this community of Shopsmith owners and for the wonderful service always provided by the company. Two grandchildren to keep me busy when it would be a great time to make sawdust and shavings. First experience with the 4" jointer was the day before Thanksgiving and now have some beautiful lumber to make a mirror frame for my daughter and her husband for the holiday season. Many more things to be thankful for and at least thankful for a place to express it. :)

I just love it when she says I can go make sawdust. ;) :D
