'Realignment' not easy with the headstock completely assembled(belt cover on). Tis possible by fishing through the way tube holes, but not very much fun. The hold em in position with the cylinders(after aligning them before reassembling all the covering stuff) precludes the need to do so.Stitch wrote:Toilet paper rolls work well. Some paper towel rolls do too. However, I just unlock the wedges completely. These forces then to opposite ends of the rod and keeps them out of the way. Just align them and reinstall the headstock.
It is not the position(in/out) along the rod that 'matters', it is the rotational position around that rod. The wedge flats MUST be pointed towards where the way tube ends up.
