New Shop Status

Finished with Proof
The final paint touches were completed on the shop last Friday. I have been moving in and fine tuning which arrangement works best for nearly three weeks. At Last I have a few pictures of the completed shop to share with you. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow any exterior pictures. The interior is 25’ X 19.6’ although the pictures give a feeling of a very full room, I actually have a great deal of space in which to work. There are three exterior doors. One to the driveway and a second into the garage are double width. The third is smaller and enters into the yard. I have three rows of three florescent light fixtures which allows great lighting. All items are on wheels with exception of large cabinets and workbenches. I hope you enjoy viewing these pictures as much as I am enjoying putting all of the pieces together. fjimp

Thanks for sharing. It really looks cozy in there. I bet you could not take pics of the outside. We broke every record in the book yesterday with snowfall here. I cant get to my shop. spent the whole day digging my way to the barn to feed the horses and that was about all I could do yesterday. Gonna try to do the driveway today so I can try to go to work tomorrow. I really do like your shop and hope to see some nice projects come out of it soon.

Well I got to work tuesday but hit a drift at the office and the truck is still sitting there. today we had the lowest high for the day on record at 12. Tonight it is to be -9 before the windchill factor. Hope to get my truck out before the next batch on Sunday. At least the shop is around 50 and is now home for the dogs since it is cold outside. Guess I can teach them to turn pens.
Okla. is not use to 13 and more inches of snow at once. I am sure glad I still had my old snow blower in the shed. Neighbors love me now

That heater is terrific. Thank you so much for the great advice.8iowa wrote:Jim:
How's the heater doing in this last round of bitter cold weather in Denver?

I do like the shop heater as it keeps the space toasty warm. energy efficient windows, doors and insulation also do their part.
I will take outside shots as soon as the weather warms up a bit. I have no desire to walk up that icy hill just now. Fjimp

Wow Bill that is a bunch of snow. We only had about 4" in last storm but having a time breaking the up side of zero. I hope the snow melts and your truck is okay.
