Well I am probably two years down the list but maybe I can get on the list. I don't get much special wood but mostly local wood I pick up myself or from tree timmers.

I tend to forget how lucky I am in the wood department. I sit in Central Indiana about on the line between the prairie part of Indiana to the north and the often forested part (including The Hoosier National forest) to the south. Southern Indiana and northern Kentucky have a lot of small hardwood sawmill operations. I also have a couple of tiny woods here on this farm and about 17 acres of woods on a mini farm in the next county. I have a small Woodmizer bandsaw sawmill. I don't have anything in the way of fancy woods, mostly maple, ash, hack-berry, walnut, a little tulip poplar, some basswood, a little oak, sycamore, small amount of hedge. Just common stuff for the area. I don't have any cypress but don't have to go far to get it. I have an over abundance of cottonwood but it is great for horse stalls (they don't like the taste).
