I have a pretty pristine Mark VII available (seattle area) - if someone out on the left coast wants to 'save' it =)

Also have an extra table/trunion for it and a cherry set of extra way tubes with plastic rack in good shape

Is it worth $100 - yes.

Does it work - probably not. (power switch missing/broken)[unique-irreplacable, but substitutions would work]

Is it 'salvagable' - probably. (more $)[time]

A good project for a 'newbie' - doubtful.

I live i Milford CT. and already have a Mark VII that is complete and functioning but I would love to get this one as well as a backup source of parts. I really like my Mark VII. I think it is better than my Mark V and would definitely buy this one if I were just a little closer. I paid $300 for my Mark VII and it cmae with jigsaw and jointer.
