I purchased a home last summer that had several (dry) rotting boards. Is there any way I will be able to use new wood, then darken that wood so it matches the rest of teh deck? I am using a cedar tone stain from Floods.
PT Pine? Pull the rotten boards. Pressure wash the whole deck with a small amount of bleach in the mix. Replace the boards with new and use a deck stain on the whole thing. If the deck is south facing, you'll see the boards will even out over time.
