I bet you guys know my question.
A friend of mine lent me, on a long term loan, a Delta Tenoning Jig. It is really heavy duty and looks like it would work very well, but the guide bar is too wide to fit in the miter track.
Is there a way to make this work? Does Delta or Shopsmith make a guide bar that will work?
Thanks.

Hi Jeff,
I am not familiar with the Delta tenoning jig that you have, but SS makes two miter bars; a stock replacement bar for their miter guage, #518104, and an auxiliary bar that you can use for your own jigs, sliding tables, etc. #516619.
Here is a link to the auxiliary one: http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/itemfind.htm?item=516619&Submit=Find+Item

Maybe you can adapt or modify one of these to work with the Delta jig?

Thanks Tim,
After you mentioned that, I realized I had an extra bar left over from my 520 upgrade so I drilled and tapped it and as soon as I get some new bolts it should work fine.
The "American Made" Delta product appears to have metric bolts. That is inconvenient in that I don't have metric taps, so I need to replace the bolts. It is always something isn't it.
I hope tomorrow I get to make my first mortise and tenon joint. I bought some poplar to practice on and planed it all flat and smooth and am ready to go once I get the jig together.

Delta Jig
Jeff,
I had the delta jig, I ground the bar down to fit on my shopsmith and it worked fine. Good luck and happy grinding my friend.
