I'm 61 but I'm a SS rookie. Got my first one about a year and a half ago. They work pretty well.
The poll looks about as I expected, but I think the average would be older if not for the higher mortality rate of the upper brackets.

You ain't just whistlin dixie there brother. Wifey's been on bed rest since mid january and it is looking like we are not going to make the June 2 Due date. The changing table is nearly finished, the closet organizer should be a one day job, the crib will be the slow and steady project.dusty wrote:Congratulations and good luck. If this is your first project, you chose a duzzey. You better get started. Three months will pass in no time. Momma may not agree with that but she is on a different schedule than you are.
Other than that I just have to do all the cooking, cleaning, carpet and paint the nursery, care for the dogs, maintain our cars, and of course go to work.
Other than that, I should be able to pull a good fifteen minutes per day out for myself. Good thing I don't sleep at night on my days off.

Who's the 'other one'?

Gee where did I get the idea Charlese was much older than 'WE'? Another 'Bad'!
I must be more careful as I continue to approach the age of 'dirt' or I might end up IN it sooner than I am supposed to!:D

He, He! Sorry - I don't really like to be this age, but it's better than the alternative.
A few years of age doesn't usually mean a whole lot between 40 and 60, but it's becoming more obvious it is considerably more difficult to retain muscle mass and keep weight down these past several years. I am finding that only an hour a day in the gym allows me to come close.
Yep! up here, it becomes a little more of an accomplishment to get a few more years on this body.

Octogenarian's have an earned right to be a curmudgeon.

I find that all of these horses help me stay young except on the days that they make me old...

Bump!!
OK, so another thread got me curious and my fading memory led me back to this old thread, last hit back in March 2011. Now I'm pretty sure we've had some new members join the forum since then and I'd be really curious to see an update to these stats.
So, new guys, let's hear from ya!!!
