Bandsaw Wheel Balance

Balancing any spinning object is generally a pretty good idea. Bandsaw wheels, because of their size and moderate rpm, could create quite a vibration problem if they are out of balance.

I would not be surprised if cheap off-shore produced bandsaws do not have balanced wheels. Equally, I am not surprised that our non-cheap ShopSmith machines do come with factory balanced wheels.
