So now I have to go find a miter saw? LOL I'll have to see if it mounts to my old one. Interesting. I wonder what I could actually use it for. I love repurposing things for my own uses.

Zyliss

Dang! That thing's almost as versatile as my Shopsmith!! I feel like I won the lottery with that thing. Except it doesn't have the double clamp seperate end piece. Time to go look on ebay....

If you don't find a proper home for the miter table extension -- I just happen to have a Craftsman Miter Saw that it will fit on.:):)

Heh, I just scored a sweet lot of zyliss stuff on ebay that was mislabeled. Though the main clamps werent there, there was a bunch of the accessories. Also included were two sets of board buddies (one yellow, one green) that more than paid for the cost of admission :) Thankfully two of the shopsmiths that i have bought came with full (and basically brand new) zyliss setups.
Mark 7, Pro Planer, Jointer, Bandsaw w/Kreg, Biscuit Joiner, Belt Sander, Jig Saw, Ringmaster, DC3300, Overarm Pin Router, Incra Ultimate setup

JWBS-14 w/6" riser, RBI Hawk 226 Ultra, Bosch GSM12SD Axial Glide Dual Compound Miter Saw

-- I have parts/SPTs available, so if you are in the Seattle area and need something let me know --

There is site somewhere that sells the individual components for the Zyliss vise but I can't find it right now.

They sell these things for $299 a pop, and the only part I'm missing is the end stop (which they will sell for $40). Guess I'll clean it up and start using it!

http://www.myhomeworkshop.com/zvise.html Go to this website, and you will find an excellent video of this tool. Once you see how it is used, you will find
it will do many things other clamps, and wood vises will not do...Enjoy..
