I have been getting some vibration and wobble recently. With just the chuck installed its still there but less. if you add a spindle or bowl the wobble is there but worse, Where do I need to start looking? Bearings. Spindle or what?

Good morning
I had a problem very much like yours, I had the first bearing in the spindle went bad.
The funny thing about it was, I didnt relise until I had replace that bearing, the old bearing was makeing noise for years,and I didnt relise it.
Now for me everything is smooth going No vibration (and more quite to boot.)
