Need 500 Carriage; any upgraders who don't need their old carriage?

I just cracked the carriage on my 1956 SS. Well, I should say the Mark V that my dad bought in 1956 and passed on to me before he passed a few years ago.

I finally got the turning bug last summer and have been doing progressively more difficult projects. I even bought the speed reducer a couple months ago and was on my third LARGE log blank, when the carriage blew apart last weekend. Verrrry sad... have been grieving all week.

I JUST missed an auction on ebay. And then I found a thread here from last month by an upgrader who didn't need some of his old 500 parts. Great idea!

So, it never hurts to ask....

Does anyone have a 500 carriage they don't need????

I've been using this SS for over 35 years. I MISS MY SHOPSMITH!!!!
