If you look here there is a picture of a drum sander mounted on the Belt Sander. My sander has a piece of aluminum sticking out where the drum would be mounted.
Am I missing something? How do you mount the drum?

That is a cover that protects you from the shaft. Pull it off and you will find the shaft just waiting. Don't forget to put the cover back when done. It is for SAFETY.
I did forget about mounting the drum sander on the side. What did catch my eye was how you MUTED a Drum sander LOL thanks for reminding me of this extra I had forgotten about

I tried to fix the title but it doesn't seem to work 100% after it's been saved. It changed the title on the post but not the thread. I recently had surgery on my right hand and I have some nerve issues in my left so I don't type to good and if I screw it up bad enough the spell checker doesn't catch it....
I got my answer in-spite of the error. I'll give it a try when I get home today.
