Good morning Last,

Happy Monday. Hopefully everyone one had a good weekend. Mine consisted of 22 hours of work tearing out a sidewalk, digging out the dirt under, putting down new substrait, and placing cobble stones on top. :D

I'm sure that's the LAST thing you wanted to do over the weekend. :)

Everytime I come on the forum, I see at least 15 people that are online. Most of these forum members never say hi. It could be they feel intimidated by people with more knowledge or they just don't know what to say. So here is a thread to help with that.

Good Morning Last, Happy Friday.

Question - - is this thread helping to draw in mor of those who prefer to lurk? You be the judge!

Back when I posted #42 there were only 19 folks who posted. Now total posts are 104 and the number of folks posting has jumped to 22.

You want to see who posted? Just click on the number of "replies" in the 1st page (showing the thread name).

Some of us aren't really lurking, we are just overwhelmed with so much information:eek: I cannot count the times I have logged in to find a particular piece of information and after a couple of hours of being sidetracked, I start to suffer from information overload syndrome  . Not a bad thing, just the nature of newbies on the forum. Some of you "old salts" have answers to questions I haven't even thought of to ask. Sometimes I even remember to take notes. Other times I search all over to find the post that had the information I read but did not retain some of the important details of. In any case Howdy-hey and thanks for all the shared wisdom.

Lurking isn't bad, it's really reading and learning without participation. But I know what you mean here, lots of good info but "where did I read that" happens. The search feature actually works well if you can be specific. These guys are more knowledgable than Google, and Google doesn't write back with things you haven't thought of yet.
But back to this thread, Spider gets crazy if you don't use the word "LAST" here all the time. And you don't want a guy named Spider mad at you...last last last last last flower last last last last..............:D

nah, not crazy, just fun to play. I asked earlier on to use the word last so the topics would not strafe too far from just a friendly hello this is last signing in or whatever. The random topics that start are for the unstructured thoughts page :D

So late good morning last and all. Hope your day is going well.

I guess it can be good to be last. I wonder how long this will last? and I wonder who will be LAST? Actually, that's about the LAST thing on my mind.

Going anywhere for your long weekend?

We are headed for the woods, highs to be in the 50's though.
