Hammered Verde Green Supply

Post by jcraigie »

It appears that the Hammered Verde Green supply is getting smaller. My usual source (HD) is now out of stock. If anyone finds a supplier please let me know I need to order a 6 pack.

Not to be picky but I know I can get it off of Amazon but I'm not paying $11.50:eek: for one can of spray paint no matter how much I like it. If all else fails for that kind of money Ill change the color scheme.

I tried that at my local wally world, after a week they called and said they couldn't get it.

Amazon is always an option, though their price looks high relative to what I remember paying.

Well I certainly backed into that with my eyes closed!!!:o

I got 'misguided' by a previous screen where I looked at hammered bulk paint. Verde green not there. When I went to the spray can screen, I failed to recognize that light blueish sample as green.:(

So it may still be premature to 'panic'!

FWIW Big Box Store responding 'we cannot get it any more' is more likely because of their purchasing department policies than actual availability of a product itself from the manufacturer.;)

I've got a box of 6. Ordered it at Lowes. It can only be ordered by the case but I did call Rustoleum and they have no plans to stop making it. It's just not a high frequency color. A special order form and 7 or so days and it's yours.
My greenie wouldn't be the same any other color.

I bought 3 cans of Hammer black and hammer yellow from a local nuts and bolts company called shamrock in Fort Smith for 2 dollars a can. :D :D

Of course it was on sale because they were not carrying it any more :(

But then True value hardware store here in Sallisaw says they can get me only black for 8 dollars a can.

Thanks holsgo,

I called the local Home Depot and they are ordering me 6 cans (mi. order so it turned out perfect) whats weird is I can't order it online but they can order it:confused: The good news is no shipping charges:D The bad news 7 to 10 day lead time. Oh well at least I got it coming.

Now if anybody has some extra time I can buy to complete some of my projects, I willing to pay Amazon prices for that:cool:
