Yeah, things are drying out around here again at last. Of course, we immediately jumped into summer weather, highs in the 90s and relative humidity not far behind. Gotta adjust.

Hermit of the Hills Woodworks, a hillbilly in the foothills of the Ozarks, scraping by.

Maybe we may get some rain here at LAST. It's been in the mid 90's for the past week now and the LAST rain we had here was back on May 25th. We are under a sever thunderstorm watch for the rest of this afternoon and evening, so maybe we will get some rain at LAST.

A deer tried to cross the road in front of my wife Friday. That time was it's last.

my dog tried to cross the new underground electric fence yesterday. I have a feeling that time will be it's last.

Some people count the number of days between rainfalls. Here in the desert of New Mexico we usually have to count the weeks between significant rainfall.

It has certainly been a while since the LAST good rainfall we have had.

It is thundering here this morning. We haven't had rain in about a week. I have a feeling that time frame is done.

We're having 60 eigth graders over tomorrow for an "end of the year party". I wonder if I could keep track of them all better with an electric fence?...........hmmm. Cost of the party is $5 and, oh, put on this electonic collar and don't try and leave til your mom gets here....
Might be the LAST party I'd throw.
