You have to admit that they have a LOT of products to learn.

I am given the uncomfortable feeling my post may have been viewed as negative toward Dave. If so I truly apologize. My sole intent was to give him space to continue learning his trade and of course to pay a well deserved compliment to Jan and Linda. Again I apologize if my remarks were negative. Fjimp

You may have noticed in today's email special that the double tilt upgrade components has changed again. Now it includes the locking handles and two locking knobs (vertical). From the SS site:

Here's What's Included With Your Upgrade Kit:
  • Two New Base & Arm Assemblies with (2) Pivot Bases, (2) Pivot Arms, (2) Vertical Lock Knobs & (2) Horizontal Lock Knobs
  • Two Accessory Mount Lock Handles
  • Two New Double-Rack Worktable Posts with Locking Pins
  • Comprehensive Instructions
No wonder the customer service folks are confused about what is included, it keeps changing. :p

Double tilt and the lift assistg

Post by smredleg »

Twice this year I've ended up in the hospital so I've missed a lot of the double tilt volleys. As I recall, there was no option for a lift assist for one to be installed for a left lift. Am I correct? Love the Power Pro, but without another one, I just can't do that now. Did get the SS double tilt e-mail offer tonite.

Yes. However a quick release is available to allow disconnecting it for opposite tilting. The Power Pro needs a stronger assist IIRC(headstock is much heavier).

Post by smredleg »

Thanx,
I received the larger gas cylinder last week. Then the high 90 deg weather attacked. Not to worry, it'll be 45 deg cooler tomarrow. What weather!

If I order the MarK 7 upgrade and have a older gray machine (1990's) will the upgrade parts be a different color?

Breya:

The dbl tilt parts are a slightly different shade of gray, but 99 people out of 100 will not notice the difference.
