Old Shopsmith Tools - Question

Post by dizneykev »

I recently came across a bunch of old Shopsmith tools. These include the planer, bandsaw, belt sander, strip sander and jointer. All of these are with power stands. Problem is I already have all of the tools. Is it ok to offer them for sale here, or is it forbidden on this site? I know I could use CL, but I would rather the tools go to someone who could appreciate them. The dela was just too good to pass up and I want to share it with the community. I have gotten so much help from the forums in the past (it was a while ago), but I wanted to try to return the favor.

A direct answer to your question is 'the sponsor does not want a trading post type activity to be present on this forum'.

However they have been quite tolerant of discreet 'announcements'.

If you have not enabled either private messages and receiving e-mails(or both) in your profile do so. That way anyone interested can contact/communicate with you 'off forum'. It would also be helpful if you also included your location in your profile. Your location is then included in all posts both past and future!
