Double Tilt Upgrade

I ordered the upgrade last Saturday along with a new combination blade. I figure to convert over to the Mark VII gradually.

Nothing a can of touch up paint can't fix!;) As far as the other goes, I've always used Roman numerals.

A VII already runs backwards also.

Anybody know of ANYWHERE else Magna American referred to a Mark VII as Mark 7?

If Shopsmith Inc. had called their produce Mark 5, there would be a lot less 'confusion'!

I didn't know that they were into fruits and vegetables.

A manufacturer produces products. Thin line between manufacture and produce as a verb. I was using it as a noun.

Farmers do not produce fruits and vegetables, GOD does. Farmers cultivate them.

It's been a long day... Got upi early to get another 510-- newer than any I have. I already had the Shopsmith apart in pieces to move it. So I am not exactly following the directions being I see no point in putting an unmodified headstock on until I put the power Pro Motor in.

So I'm looking at the way tubes and put each side up vertically- not both at once <smile>. I noticed the verticle lock screw is not screwing into the base where it should on either end. Do I not have the lower way tubes where they should be? I aligned them as per the instructions, yet they are way off.

Suggestions? I'm too tired so I'll say good night.

I think we need pix.

FWIW the 'lower way tubes' are the bench tubes. The headstock and carriage slide on the way tubes.]now [/B]including a screw for the 'other end'.
