Router table 505806

Post by dizneykev »

I just picked up one of these tables off of CL. I am trying to figure out what parts might be missing. Does anyone have a manual for this? I could not seem to find anything about it on the Shopsmith site. It seems to be the model that has the table inserts. I think it has 2-3 of them included. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, Dizney - 505806 did not return any part from Shopsmith. Try 555865 and/or 555658. The insert for these two tables are different, but these are the only router tables that I know of from Shopsmith.

manual

Post by THOMRIDER »

I picked up one on CL just two weeks earlier with everything but the pins so I have the manual just let me know how I can help.

Will be back in town Sunday. I can scan some of the manual pages but I contacted Shopsmith and they don't have any of the parts.

I have the stand-alone OPR, but I am not familiar with the part# you referenced. Can you post a picture of the table?

I have had/sold older router tables that mounted in the power mount and used the same router plate (515496) and inserts as my OPR. I am not sure if you have the same version. So FYI,The table inserts for the table on OPR are 515497 (pin insert) and 515498 (regular insert). Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of the manual that goes with this version of the router table. The following is the parts breakdown for the OPR I have. You can look at it to see if it looks like the router plate and inserts are the same as in your table.

Thanks,

That is exactly the model that I have. Now, it looks like all I may be missing are a few of the pins (seems to be a common problem). The only other thing may be the knurled handled screws to adjust the split fence with, but those should be easy to come by.

I really appreciate your digging this up for me.
