Powerpro Headstock return/rebate info?

Post by damagi »

When I got my powerpro, there was nothing about the headstock swap program other than a sheet indicating that if I was returning my headstock to keep my hubs and handle. Did anyone get more detailed instructions?

Sorry, don't have any written instructions, but can tell that when I returned my PowerPro for repair, I took off the hubs. When I got the repaired headstock back, it came with new hubs.

Don't understand what the handle is!

Not looking for repair - looking for info about the $200 rebate. Do I just ship it to them?

I want to say that offer has ended as of 22 June. Also it might cost ya just about the rebate amount to ship it.

I would think 22 June was the end of the opportunity to purchase one with a return option. I would hope they allow sufficient time for 'swapping'.

I do assume you may have needed to specify that you intended to 'return' at the time of purchase.

I bought mine on June 9th (well before the 22nd cutoff), it didn't ship until the 21st (even though per the demo it was supposed to ship the 17th), so I didn't receive it until the 27th.

A newer headstock with 1 1/8 HP motor is worth way more than $200 less shipping (cost will vary). A parted out headstock will bring close to $400 and the buyer pays shipping.

Just a thought.

I'm well aware of that, and I am certainly not planning on sending in my virtually new 2004 headstock with only 5 hours on it. Don't worry, I am running the numbers to make sure it makes sense.
