Headstock Temperature

what is the general temp of the headstock around the bearing areas and motor. My unit runs at about 127 degrees F with ambient of 97 to 102 degrees F. Is this 30 degree temp rise ok?

I would not say it is 'unusual'.

What part of the World is your machie located? Is it always in the shade?

I am in Odessa, TX and I do try to keep it in the shade; the temperature is in my well ventilated shop, only conditioning is open more doors. The headstock seemed to overheat when I was running vertical at high speed doing some light router work on cabinet doors. I guess I will see if it does the same this fall when it cools down.
