Here are some of the ones I did today. BAD pitting on the Greenies bench tubes, but oh well, I'm just being too picky.
I've been operating lathes (metal and sometimes wood) for nigh onto 35 years and have pretty quick reflexes. I've seen enough accidents by others that could've been avoided. It can get ugly. Oh, and I have spilled a drop or two of blood as well over the years. But let's not go there.
Oh and before someone asks, yes this is one of my 1956 models and those are 1.875 bench tubes.

Tubes look nice, really like the paint job you are doing on the restoration. I must say it is a shame that SS moved away from the green to gray; IMHO, that green just looks so much nicer.
