Q6 what do the terminals measure with no wires attached?

Here is a 'possibility'.
Answers to Qx above could prove this wrong.
If the motor IS reversible, the start winding must be connected to the terminal board from below. This is the reason for the in the breeze question and the terminal question. All measurements MUST be done with nothing touching anything else. That includes the terminal board.
Assuming all this;
black to red s/b near zero .8?
yellow to gray s.b near zero .8?
The following should be 'open' black to yellow(and gray), and red to yellow(and gray).
The terminal board terminals should act funky. Slowly
INcreasing reading after shorting the terminals.
I be assuming the following:
Run 1 winding black to red
Run 2 winding yellow to gray
Terminal block outer terminals connect to the start circuit.
This is all a hypothesis.
If the predicted measurements are correct(especially the terminal board measurement) I will post a suggested wiring for reverse and dual voltage connections.
This all assumes it is truly reversible!!!!!!!
Your 14/.8 and 1.3 measurements are conflicting with this.
Tis possible the extra cost for the electrical/directional options included motor changes!!!

BFW:
Reverse the wire pairs on the terminal board.
Is red gray empty black yellow
try black yellow empty red gray
If it runs reversed, the start circuit is connected to the terminal board.
If it runs the same direction, the horse is dead!
Or 'insufficient' input!!!:D

First, yes, they were flapping in the breeze.
Yes, I seem to need to test the other pairs.
The meter is a Fluke digital.
I will try and get a measurement before work. If not, when I get home. Thanks boys.

Here are the measurements:
Gray yellow-.9
Gray black-0
There is nothing across any terminals. 0.L is the reading on my digital multimeter.
I'm not thinking this is reversible.

I'm thinking it is not reversible!
The 0 readings are not understood by me(maybe they were 0.L?)
Oh well, the horse is dead!

Yup. Issue dead. Yes, it read 0.L
Wish I knew more about motors. That said, I have learned more from these 2 motor scenarios (the original issue with a stuck centrifugal switch)and now this one. Thanks for the time.
I also pulled the board from the box and saw no wire connectors in the back.
So my lesson for the day is....6 wires from motor mean reversible, 4 wires no.

True if dual voltage. 4 is enough if not!;)

The plot continues to thicken then...so I guess dual voltage means 110 and 220 motor (like the one on this machine) and a 110 only is single voltage (like my old south bend lathe motor we worked on some time back).
Jpg, you could do up a write up of some of this and make some of us very happy. Like with pics of samples, sample wiring diagrams etc. I've trolled youtube looking for some motor stuff, and found some great things but nothing that comes close to you explaining it.
One guy explained 3 phase and single phase and it was fantastic. I need to find it.
