This is what I see. The paper clip for attaching pics is about center and next to the smilee face. So the next question is WHICH browser are you using?

I use Chrome, and went to those B4 when you suggested, spent an evening deleting unwanted installed programs that came with it.
Is that like do as I say, not as I do???LOL

You clicked on the wrong download link! You did not 'deselect' the sneaky add on stuff.
Where did you go to get Mozilla?
FWIW, I experienced the missing attachment clip when I tried Chrome. That be the reason Chrome no longer lives here.

A few weeks back I tried to find how to post Pics using Windows 8, but never found a solution. Your simple method makes it very smooth.
