Converted 510 table to a router table progress

The final result....

I'm waiting for some T-Nuts to use the 510 fence with the shaper fence, but O also could drill a couple of holes in the table to use it by itself.

From underneath, because I could not weld some 3/8 nuts to the table, I made a filler pieces out of aluminum and used JB Weld to attach it to the table.

Well I FINALLY finished the 510 router table with fence. Now to try it out...

Oops... I've tapped a 1/4" bolt into the shaper fence (which I had milled out to accept the dust fitting and drilled thru the fitting. So I guess I'd have to remove it for taller pieces. GOOD call Ben.

Thanks for pointing that out, I thought I was done but now will have rev #2 to fix that challenge. To which I accept.

Before you consider modifying your design, you might want to not do anything. Your design suggests you built it with edge work in mind and laying the pieces flat. Until you decide otherwise, why use brain cells to redesign something that may never come to pass?

Personally I often over build with response to nearly every contingency. This too often leads to using a 4" 3/8 - 16 bolt when a simple nail would be just as effective!

I like to design. It keeps the neurons firing and I need as much help as I can get!!

Heck given the opportunity I'd probably try to reinvent the wheel.
