I also use the 3M mask and it works great. Saw dust is something that can build up in your lungs over time and you will pay for it later in life. As for hearing if I am doing a lot of sawing and running the planer I have a set of earplugs that were made by an ear doctor and fit to my ears. They work great and you don't know you have them in. I use to wear mine all the time when I was on the gun range and never had to use the muff style

It is a Biplane made entirely from soda cans. The father of a friend that I worked with before I retired from Hill AFB makes them. The propeller actually turns in a breeze. I have three of them. I am going to hang one in the output air stream of each one of my three ceiling mounted air filters.

I use the 3M 8511 N95 dust mask which has a valve so you don't fog your glasses.

I have a double canister 3 M mask with interchangeable organic vapor or dust cartridges. The organic cartridges are the 3M 6001/07046 p/n.

Both of the above are available at my local big box (HD).

I just ran across this video and thought I would share.

It looks like a good solution for those of us with facial hair. :)

I'm really envious of your shop. What a beauty.
