That is nice looking work no mater what it is intended for.

Perhaps sometime you could do a project and let us follow along via some pictures or video as I would love to learn how to do something like that?

Very beautiful piece. I have been contemplating turning one for myself. Not quite ready to go, but we never know when the time is now. Both she and yourself should be vefry proud of this fine work of art.

Hi Gang
I just tried to post a response to thank everyone for their comments and to answer a question posted by Beeg. The vessel is 8" in diameter at the widest point and 11" tall. The light colored sides are cherry from Pennsylvania separated by strips of purple heart. The top and bottom are mahogany and the finial is maple. Again thanks to all who replied and giving me confidence to try to do another one.
