Bill, Dusty, et al,

Thank you all so much for the info on the bearings; I knew that the I.D. was 1/2" but I wasn't sure about the O.D. Now all I need to do is run down to the bearing house and pick some up especially now that Bill was able to provide me with some OEM numbers.
On a separate but related note, does anyone have a preference when it comes to bandsaw blade manufacturers? I know there are a ton of blades out there and I am looking to pick up 1/4" and 1/2" blades at a minimum but I wasn't sure if the group has had better luck with one brand over another as this is my first bandsaw. Thanks again!

I did drill and tap a hole for a zerk grease fitting on this one before installing the needle bearings but decided that was not really needed again as I saw no real wear occurring on the dozens of arm shafts of the bandsaws I serviced. Removal of the upper bandsaw wheel to allow the use of a pipe on the shaft to set the proper upper wheel offset provided me a time to grease these bearings. For more info Visit our Website
