and one for the Sanding Disks. The design for these wall mounted holders is not mine; the design was originated by Jim Miller and seen first here on this forum in one of his posts.

Thanks everyone for the various storage solutions.
I have a very!! limited space, 11' by 13', in which to set up and even more limited wall space since one side of the "shop" is a hallway into the downstairs Mother-in-Law apartment. I originally saw the design Dusty showed, but I can't seem to spare the wall space. However, if I place the two back to back and place the seam against the wall with some sort of clever hinge to access both sides? Then again, if I hang the locker design I started with under the Shopsmith then they are always at hand. Because of the small work area I am constanly moving my MK5 around to load up varoius SPTs and make room for board suport at different ends of the machine. I still haven't got all my SPts stored in a reasonable fashion yet as i try towork this all out. I think it will be evolving over quite a period of time.
So many options! I will have to re-evaluate now and see what looks like it will fit. Thanks again.

Dusty,
What thread would I look for to get the plans for the blade holder?

There are no plans that I know of. I made mine based on a little info that Jim shared with me at one of the TAs here in Tucson. You could very well do the same.
I'll get out in the shop today and take a couple pictures and make some measurements. I'll post those when I have them.
Initially, I made one based on saw blade dimensions and then realized th at the sanding disks are different. Therefore I have two, as seen in the photo.
Because of where I mounted mine, on a wall between two windows, I probably would have made two anyhow but that wasn't my initial plan. When I built these I had only one sanding disk (pre-conical) and only three blades on arbors. The inventory has grown a bit, even more than the photos show. I need two more arbors.

ryanbp01,
this should give you the info on the blade holder made by James Miller
http://www.shopsmith.net/forums/showthr ... =5050#5050
Check the link on post #10 on that thread also for more details
I have made two of them that hold 8 blades and will soon make one for my sanding discs also.

John has given ya'll a link to James Miller's posts that provide everything I was going to be able to provide. I'll not add to this thread.
If anyone feels a need, at this point, just send me a PM.
