My collection (clear) bag is at least 3/4 full. Are you saying that this is causing the dust bag to fill up with dust?

I think I may have misunderstood. When you said dust bag, I was thinking the collection bag. I now think you meant filter hood.

Want to talk mess...my filter hood was apparently not on tight enough one time. I took all the plugs out of the DC to filter some of the air in the shop. When I pulled the last plug, the hood flew off from the increased airflow. Alot of wood dust blew out before I got to the switch to turn it off. Big mess.

Eldyfig, You're correct, I meant filter hood. But, man, was that thing filled with dust - ergo, "dust bag".
