Oops...they say that it's important to "comprehend" what you read! Ha! So, the Mark VII has two bearings on the idler shaft?

So, back to the original post! Hobbies, do you have a Mark VII or older Mark 5? (Single "waterpump" style bearing or two bearings on your idler shaft?

JPG, just to clarify, hasn't it been said that replacing the "waterpump" style idler bearing with two separate bearings not as reliable? ...they fail much sooner than the original?

The Mark VII did NOT use the water pump bearing. It used a precursor to the current two bearing design. One of many things that way.

Curious 'who' said that? Also why?

I seen on ebay bandsaw has one that goes on mark v pn#522741 will it enterchange with mark vii501324?

ARE THE BEARING SUPPOSE TO COME OFF EASY? THESE COME OFF WITH THE ECCENTRIC.
