Or hit the set screw threads with a metal chisel length wise, but if screwing into Aluminum, I dont recommend that, go with a LockTite adhesive.

I use this style in frequently removed set screws. You don't want to use loctite in this application.
These have a nylon patch in the threads so you won't have to worry about the loctite hardening.
